Why choose our ham? Our ham receives its name for minimum curing time of 15 months in our own natural drying rooms located in the Cameros mountain range (La Rioja, Spain). The surroundings provide unique characteristics for each ham. Each ham is unique and requires its own slow and natural curing process with fresh mountain air. To make sure you consume a healthy product, our ham contains only natural ingredients: pork meat and salt. No allergens, gluten or GMOs. Our hams are noted for their long and slow curing process, overseen every two months by our Master ham experts. This curing process allows the ham to reach a balance between the aromas and the flavors in the meat. Our mission Monte Nevado has over 120 years of experience curing hams.
