About Snatched In Misamis Oriental

It had been over six months since Helen 'Hot Rod' Young had settled into her new position as Deputy Chief of Station in the Philippines. The veteran CIA Operations Officer was working out of the U.S. Consular Agency Office in Cebu City, and her cover as an employee of the United States Agency for International Development allowed Hot Rod an excuse to travel to Mindanao and coordinate with the four CIA Operatives working on counterinsurgency operations on the Island. Unfortunately for Young, the leadership of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters, one of the most active Muslim insurgencies on Mindanao, was keeping track of the U.S. personnel stationed in Cebu City, and they had observed Young taking the overnight ferry to the southern island once or twice a month. She was ripe for kidnapping. 2028 was a presidential election year, and President Judd Henry knew the abduction of a senior intelligence officer could throw a wrench into his re-election campaign, and he would unleash every intelligence asset at his disposal to free Hot Rod. The insurgents that were holding Hot Rod may have thought they had the upper hand, but they certainly didn't know Hot Rod had been trained by Legendary CIA Chief of Station Fred 'Fat Freddie' Ward. It was a well-known fact within the Operations Directorate at CIA Headquarters in Langley, Virginia, that if you're so lucky to be mentored by Ward, you become one of his 'kids', and that meant there would be Hell to pay if you brought harm to any of them.
