About Crossing Mugwort Island: The Magical World Of Myra
Late one evening, when the sun had set, And the gentleness of the moonbeams sparked, a golden drop formed into the vision of a golden-cloaked woman and fell upon the ravishing Mekong sea, Her name, she said, was Myra… From the moment Tuan set out to sea to escape the carnages of his land, strange and unusual things start to happen. Halfway into his journey, waves began crashing forcefully against the hull of his undersized boat. Then, out of nowhere, there came the loud BANG of an explosion and the boat shattered into a million pieces, leaving Tuan struggling alone in the midst of the ravishing sea….or, so, that is, he thought…until he looked up, and couldn’t believe the vision floating just inches above the crashing waves. It was a lady, wrapped in a golden cloak, and she spoke to him in the dark of night, “My name is Myra. I’ve come to help you with your destiny before it’s too late.” And, so, it was, that Tuan rose magically out of the sea and floated over in the direction of an old pirate’s ship where he was met by a cast of dazzling characters—Captain Silver, Gunpowder Gurtie, Blink, and the three fairies—who offered him promises of hope, a future, and an unforgettable journey into the magical world of Mugwort Island, where he would meet the island’s native Dromes, and where he would see the laws of the universe unfold before him, showing him ways to take control of his future by conquering the one and only Black Pete, the source of his inner demons. But before Tuan can save his destiny, he must relive the dramatic details of his life as a sleeping hero in the war-ridden land of Vietnam.
