About Metalux UC12T518 UC Series Fluorescent Undercabinet
The Metalux Electronic Undercabinet Series provides an efficient task lighting solution for any decor. Available in Slim profile with T8 lamps. The electronic undercabinet series is not only high quality but an excellent value with post-painted housings, 100% acrylic non-yellowing lenses, and color corrected lamps. The undercabinet fixture conforms to various applications such as kitchens, offices, study areas, displays, computer stations and any other application where an inconspicuous light source is required. Certain airborne contaminants can diminish the integrity of acrylic components. Construction: Nominal 1-3/4" deep, heavy gauge cold rolled steel housing construction. Housing features rounded corners and no exposed fas-teners. Keyhole mounting slots are located on top of housing for ease of installa-tion. KO’s for continuous row mounting. Available with opaque front option. Electrical: Ballast are CBM/ETL Class "P" and positively secured by mounting bolts. Pressure lock lampholders. UL/CUL listed. Suitable for damp locations. Finish: Painted after fabrication. Electrostatically applied baked white polyester powder enamel finish. Multistage cleaning cycle, iron phosphate coating with rust inhibitor. Conveyorized application and baking timing accurately controlled at an elevated temperature. Frame/Shielding: 100% virgin acrylic, linear ribbed diffuser with DR additive. Diffuser is non-yellowing, light stabilized for excellent light trans-mission. Diffuser can be easily removed.
