The chain, hook, and wiring were perfect for extending the placement of a chandelier. The wire was easy to cut, strip and tie into the current line. The chain is plenty strong to hold 40-50 pounds.

Installation method: 1.install the fan bracket mounting directly to the ceiling with screws firmly into a ceiling joist stud. It is important you find a stud to install the bracket to.You can choose whether to hang the light or fan from the chain. 2.Then, using the 2 hooks (one beside the fan, and one at the wall above the outlet tied to the switch) I install the chain tightly between them, so it does not sag into the blades 3.Allow the cord to go inside to the fan's wiring. Then, plug the cord into the outlet. Package include: 15 foot Lamp Cord (4.57 m) 2 Swag Hooks 12 foot Chain (3.66 m) 1 x switch 2 x bolts 4 x screws
