A separator for purifying DNA, RNA and other biomolecules with magnetic beads, works with any kit
Holds up to 8 of the 1.5 mL centrifuge tubes with conical bottoms on one side, 8 2 mL tubes on the other side
The strongest neodymium magnets ensure quick and effective bead separation within a minute
The unique design of the tube slots allows for a very snug fit, allowing the opening or closing of the tube without disturbing the pellet. Meanwhile, tubes are easy to insert or take out from the rack
When you need to vortex the tubes, you can remove the magnets and vortex the entire rack with all the tubes at once. This significantly speeds up the procedure.
This dual-sided magnetic separator (magnetic rack) is designed to fit 1.5 mL conical tubes on one side and 2 mL tubes on the other. It purifies DNA, RNA, or other biomolecules with magnetic beads. It is equipped with three rows of powerful neodymium magnets that quickly pull the beads toward the side of the tube, separating them from the solution. The beads will accumulate near the wall, slightly above the bottom of the tube, allowing you to easily pipette out the liquid without disturbing the beads. To use the rack, simply insert your tubes and wait a few minutes for the solution to clear. The rack is compatible with any magnetic bead purification kits, including Dynabeads and Ampure beads. It is suitable for a variety of applications, such as purifying PCR products or selecting DNA strands of a specific size from a DNA library. The removable magnets option allows you to vortex all the tubes at once, without removing them from the rack one by one. The rack has dimensions of 118.5 x 43.7 x 35 mm, and can hold eight tubes at a time, either 1.5 or 2 mL size. Technical specifications: - Dimensions L x W x H: 160.7 x 40.5 x 36.8 mm - Contains neodymium magnets of N52 grade - Color: white - 8 tubes of 1.5 mL on one side or 2 mL on the other side - Beads will be pulled 1-3 mm up from the bottom of a typical tube
