Understand the nature of genetic inheritance and the role of Deoxyribonucleic acid and proteins in genetic expression while using biological detergents, enzymes, and ethanol to isolate Deoxyribonucleic acid from plant material. Need to supply the plant material. Kit contains enough materials for 15 groups. Teachers manual and student study guide copymasters are included. Kit includes: (2) 7.5 percent SDS/1.5 percent NaCL, 250 milliliters, (1) pepsin (to make 25 milliliters 0.5 percent solution), (2) 95 percent Ethanol, 25 milliliters, (20) zipper bags, (15) filters, (15) plastic tubes, (30) graduated pipettes, (15) stirrers.
