About Kimax 14000-150 Glass Low Form Griffin Beaker With

The Kimble Kimax KG-33 borosilicate glass, round, Griffin-style, graduated beaker with white double-scale markings has a slightly flared, beaded top with a spout, and is available in a variety of sizes (10-, 20-, 30-, 50-, 100-, 150-, 250-, 600-, 800-, and 2000-mL). It is made of clear KG-33 borosilicate glass for durability and chemical- and temperature-resistance. The beaker has a white matte-finish marking area designed for use with an ordinary pencil, and meet requirements for the American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME) E960, Type I, and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E438, Type I, Class A, Stand Specification for Glass in Laboratory Apparatus. KG-33 borosilicate glass has a low coefficient of thermal expansion, very high resistance to chemical attack, and heavy walls that minimize the risk of mechanical breakage when heat is applied. Beakers are used for measurement, quality testing, sampling, and research, and in lab applications in chemistry, education, research, and life science applications. Kimble Chase Life Science and Research Products manufactures scientific laboratory glassware under the Kimble Kimax brand. The company, founded in 2007 and headquartered in Vineland, NJ, has its origins in Kimble Glass and Kontes Glass, and is now a division of The Gerresheimer Group.
