About Madison MS5917 Stainless Steel Full Size Liquid
Liquid level switch has a stainless steel stem and a stainless steel float and is equipped with a slosh shield. A slosh shield should be considered if your operating environment contains intensive agitation of the liquid, boiling fluids, or surging due to large inflows and outflows of liquid. These turbulent conditions may result in erratic float operation. If this is not the case, the M5900 is the equivalent switch without the slosh shield equipped. The MS5917 is a good selection for higher temperature applications (up to 250 degrees C). Applicable for high-temperature (to 250 degree C), high-pressure (to 300 PSIG) and corrosive conditions.
