The ADXL335 is a small, low profile, low power, complete three-axis accelerometer that provides a signal-conditioned voltage output that measures acceleration over a full ±30 g range.
It measures static gravitational acceleration in tilt detection applications as well as dynamic acceleration caused by motion, shock or vibration.
The user selects the bandwidth of the accelerometer using the capacitors X_OUT, Y_OUT, and Z_OUT on the CX, CY, and CZ pins.
The appropriate bandwidth can be selected depending on the application. The X-axis and Y-axis bandwidths range from 0.5 Hz to 1600 Hz, and the Z-axis bandwidth ranges from 0.5 Hz to 550 Hz.
