This Lovejoy Hydraulics BNZ water-oil cooler is a compact shell-and-tube cooler for removing heat from hydraulic fluid. The hydraulic oil is circulated through the housing shell and across the cooling fins, which transfer heat to the cooling tubes in the cartridge where it is absorbed and carried away by the water flowing through the tubes. The multiple fins in the cooling tube add more surface area for more cooling capacity, and the 2-pass system directs the oil through the shell twice for additional cooling. The cooler causes only a minimal drop in oil pressure for efficient operation of the hydraulic system. The end caps are removable for easy cleaning of the cooler. The mounting brackets can be rotated in 90-degree increments for different mounting options. This water-oil cooler is suitable for use in industrial and marine environments.
