To install a Class 150 fitting, use Teflon tape or plumber's tape to thread the male end, remove any excess tape, and tighten the joints without excessive screwing, which can damage the pipe or fitting. Stainless steel 316 is the material used in these fittings, which contains molybdenum (Mo) to improve its chemical and corrosion resistance compared to the standard 304 grade.
