About Metalwork 304 Stainless Steel Pipe

The reducing street tee is a stainless steel 304 t-shaped pipe fitting with 1/8" male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on one run and 1/4" female NPT threads on the other run connections and on the branch for connecting one female pipe and two male pipes. The street tee has NPT threading for creating tighter seals than straight threads and is made from stainless steel 304, which is higher strength and more corrosion resistant than stainless steel 302. Pipe fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries.
