About Dixon L03 Ductile Iron Series L Pipe And Welding

This Dixon Series L coupling is for connecting or extending pipes going in the same direction using a nut-and-bolt connection. It includes an ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber gasket for high elasticity and resistance to abrasion and impact forces. Made of ductile iron for high tensile strength with rust-inhibiting paint, this fitting has a maximum operating pressure of 300 pounds per square inch (psi). This coupler is interchangeable with Victaulic #75 and Grinnell #7000 couplers, and is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listed and Factory Mutual (FM) approved. Dixon Series L couplings are suitable for use in applications that involve mining, irrigation, and compressed air where a pipe deflection of 5% or less is required. Pipe fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries. When purchasing pipe fittings, consider the application, as this will affect material type, shape, size, and required durability. Fittings are available threaded or unthreaded, in many shapes, styles, sizes, and schedules (pipe wall thickness). Dixon Valve & Coupling Company manufactures pipe and hose fittings and accessories. The company, founded in 1916, is headquartered in Chestertown, MD.
