The Kit Includes the Following O-Rings in Buna-N 90 Durometer: 25 - Dash 4 (#011) 25 - Dash 6 (#012) 25 - Dash 8 (#014) 25 - Dash 10 (#016) 20 - Dash 12 (#018) 15 - Dash 16 (#021) 10 - Dash 20 (#025) 10 - Dash 24 (#029) All Conveniently Packaged in a Multi-Compartment Plastic Carrying Case - Complete with an Easy to Use Sizing Chart. This kit is assembled in the USA by Beaver Island Parts Company. ORFS, or (O-ring Face Seal) fittings incorporate an O-ring at the face of the fitting. Made to SAE J1453 standard, ORFS connections are commonly manufactured in carbon, nickel plated carbon & Stainless steel and typically use O-rings that seat into a groove in the face of the fitting. This is known as an elastomeric seal. The seal is created when the o-ring compresses between the o-ring face of the fitting and flat face of the mating ORFS fitting or the formed tube. When the connection is tightened the O-ring compresses against a flat face of mating fitting or tube. This system is used frequently in hydraulics, although it has been applied to other systems including compressed air systems and vacuum pumps.
