About Decorative Hand Printed Stained Glass Window Sun
Celtic Glass Designs create significant and expressive gifts designed by Beverley Gallagher. This Celtic Cross design is one of the Winged Heart creations based on Celtic designs inspired by the Book of Kells, an illuminated manuscript created by monks during the 6th century when Celtic traditions became fused with the newly developed Christian religion. These designs became to have symbolic meanings to the Celts. The remnants of the Book of Kells can be viewed at Trinity College, Dublin. Window 'Sun Catchers/Roundels' are round glass decorations designed to hang in a window of the home. Various sizes of Sun Catcher/Roundel are produced by hand-printing directly onto the glass. The Window Art Roundels and Panels are framed with traditional stained glass lead, and hung with trace chain. All products are supplied with window suction cups. It is recommended to apply a smear of egg white on the back of the window suction cups to prevent them drying out in double glazed and drier window conditions. Supplied in burgundy and gold gift boxes.
