About GASPRO Gas Fireplace Embers, 10 Oz. Rock Wool
GASPRO Rock Wool definitely adds a nice touch to a gas fireplace. If you want to refresh your gas log fireplace and add a pretty glow to your gas log setup, these do the trick! Features: Makes your new gas fireplace/gas log set up awesomely realistic. It can be used with lava rock for added realism. Compatibility: Vented Gas Fireplaces or Gas Log Sets Unvented Gas Fireplaces or Gas Log Sets Natural Gas (NG) Fireplaces Propane (LP) Fireplaces Installation: Pull them apart, pinch small clumps, and place near gas ports on burner pan. Place small amounts of rock wool on logs where the flames "lick" the logs for ember effects. Many installers use hard-bristled brushes to "flick" a dusting of wool material on a log to add a wonderful glowing effect where the flame touches. Note: Be careful not to clump it on the gas ports because the flame has to "breathe". Glowing embers glow where they are touched by flame. You can lightly spray the logs with water to help the wool stick to the logs in the area where the flame will contact.
