Earthquake Sound XJ-300ST Home Audio 300W Class J Features

  • Miniature, cool-running stereo modular amplifier packs more power and flexibility than any other amplifier - No amplification task is beyond its capability - an installer's go-to amplifier

  • Just 1U rack space tall with a half-rack width chassis; Smart design features a proprietary interlocking configuration so two XJ-300STs can be rack-mounted side by side (optional RM-300FR long rack mounting ears sold separately)

  • XJ technology allows for a novel 2.1 configuration: With the XJ-300ST, connecting a third speaker between the two main channels is possible; This matrix mono channel plays both channels' combined content, allowing for a 2 satellite speaker and subwoofer setup

  • Because the XJ-300ST is so versatile, multiple XJ-300ST amplifiers can be employed to assemble multi-channel audio configurations

  • Power Handling: 2 x 110 WRMS @ 8-Ohm, 2 x 170 WRMS @ 4-Ohm, 170 WRMS @ 8-Ohm Mono Bridged, 300 WRMS @ 4-Ohm Mono Bridged

  • Frequency response: 20Hz–20kHz; Impedance: 2 Ohm or greater; Crossover: 50Hz–160Hz; SNR: > 97 dB; Damping Factor: > 400; THD: < 0.08%; Input Impedance 10 kOhm; Input Connections: RCA; Output Connections: 5-way binding posts; +12V trigger and auto signal sensing

About Earthquake Sound XJ-300ST Home Audio 300W Class J

The XJ-300ST amplifier from Earthquake Sound packs more power and maintains more flexibility than any other amplifier; no amplification task is beyond its capability. With its unimposing miniature size and an unbelievable amount of cool running power, this powerful and compact class J amplifier is an installer's go-to dream. Keeping flexibility and convenience in mind, Earthquake has kept its patented interlocking design so that two amplifiers can be connected, resulting in a 4-channel amplifier configuration using only 1U of rack space. The XJ-300ST can also be mounted on the wall or inside a cabinet by affixing the short mounting ears to the preassigned holes on the sides of the amplifier. With endless configuration scenarios, the XJ-300ST amplifier can be used as a mono (bridged) amplifier, 2.1-channel amplifier, 2-channel amplifier 4/8/12, and 16-channel amplification with industry-leading power density and efficiency. With the XJ-300ST, connecting a third speaker between the main channels is possible. This matrix mono channel (aka "tri-mode" configuration) plays the combined content of both channels. It is beneficial for powering 2 satellite speakers and a subwoofer. Approaching 99% efficiency, the XJ-300ST amplifier runs cool and composed and can be placed in a tight rack with components on all sides. The massive power capability is made possible due to the advanced nature of the patented Class J output stage. The switching frequency of the output and the amplitude of the power supply is modulated in real-time based on the frequency and amplitude content of the input. No other amplifier can match the efficiency and power of Earthquake's Class J technology.
