Description CA-38 San Francisco is a new Orleans class fifth ship of the province-type heavy cruiser ship built on February 10, 1934. The first class was the final development of the pre-war heavy cruiser ship and served as the flagship of the U.S. Cruiser Fleet. Although this ship was completely damaged in the Pearl Bay attack, it was destroyed by the Battleship in the Third Salomon Sea Battle, which participated in the flagship Battle Battle. After returning to the war line, he participated in the fierce battles such as Mariana, the Coast of Reite, and Okinawa operations, but it survived successfully until the end of the war, and disassembled in May 1961.
