The fact that these units are published individually allows professors the flexibility of selecting the ones that they would like to develop their course on Culture and Civilization or choose one or several to complement particular courses on Latin American Women or LGBTIQI+ issues, Art, Music and Literature, Economy, Human Rights, the Hispanic population in the US, or the history of Latin America from pre-Columbian times to the Independence.
