HERACLITUS RIDENS, London, April 11, 1682 * Very rare 335 year old title An interesting and uncommon dialogue newspaper, which was a typical format for some periodicals of that day. Subtitled: "A Dialogue between Jest & Earnest, Concerning the Times." This conversation begins: "Good morrow, Brother, what refection have you for us this morning. We left off with the Wisdom of the Nation, shall we go on with Popery and Arbitrary Power, or the Whiggish Plots we had begun withal the time before?..." Complete as a single sheet issue, 8 by 12 1/2 inches, never-trimmed margins, great condition.
