About Goldenrod Alcohol-Free Liquid Extract, Organic

Goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea L.) is a perennial herb with a short, ligneous rod root. The stems are erect, usually unbranched, leafy, 30-100 cm high. The leaves are alternate, ovate or elliptical, acuminate, serrate on the edge. The yellow flowers are collected in small numerous baskets 10-15 mm in diameter, on the tops of the stems in a narrow upright racemose or paniculate inflorescence. Fruits are cylindrical ribbed achenes 3-4 mm long. It blooms from May to September; achenes ripen in June - October.
