About Prime-Line PL 7812 Aluminum Screen Frame Kit, 5/16
The Prime-Line PL 7812 Screen Kit includes all the products necessary to replace one missing or damaged window screen frame. Using the components of this screen frame repair kit, a 36 inch x 36 inch screen frame can be constructed. Smaller custom size frames can also be made when using the frame material from this window frame kit. The screen frame replacement kit includes an aluminum frame, four square-cut plastic corners, and a vinyl spline. With the provided materials, screens can be made with your choice of aluminum mesh, fiberglass fabric, or flexible poly film (screen fabric not included) by following the easy-to-follow instructions provided within each screen window frame kit. The window screen frame kit measures 5/16 inch x 3/4 inch x 36 inch. The screen replacement kit for windows or doors is available in other sizes and colors. The lineal pieces of the screen frame material are intentionally cambered (curved) outward, designed to prevent inward bowing when screen cloth is installed and stretched taut.
