EZ-Hang Bulk Box Door Installation Kit - The strongest system for the best value Each box contains 77 brackets and all the screws you'll need. That's enough for 11 traditional EZ-Hang installations which includes a bracket for the top jamb. 77 brackets are also enough for 7 premium door installations, which can be used for heavy or solid core doors. How Does it work? Traditional EZ-Hang Installation 1. Draw a plumbline on the hinge-side of the wall about ½ inch in from the rough opening 2. Install brackets below each hinge and even with the edge of the door frame. Repeat on the knob side of the door, starting 12″ down from the top, 2″ above the latch hole and 6-8″ up from the bottom. 3. Insert the door in the rough opening and attach the brackets to the wall using your reference line. Premium EZ-Hang Installation EZ-Hang premium door installation works by attaching traditional EZ-Hang brackets to both sides of the jamb, creating the shortest span possible between brackets, allowing for the 5X the jamb stability. 1. Attach the brackets where you would for a normal installation, along with 4 on the back side of the jamb, between the brackets on the front. 2. Remove the 4 brackets on the back side of the jamb by turning the screws back about 1/2 turn, then slide the brackets out through the keyhole slots. 3. Insert the door in the rough opening, attach the brackets to the wall using your reference line, then reattach the brackets on the back of the jamb using the keyhole slots. EZ-Hang Economy Installation Repeat the process used for a Quality EZ-Hang installation using only 6 brackets instead of 7, leaving a bracket off the top jamb. Note: the economy installation is less secure and should only be used on hollow core doors.
