It will hide and protect your padlock/hasp from getting noticed or cut off with bolt cutters. It has a low profile design that reduces the area and cannot be knocked off with a sledgehammer. It’s a bolt-on style lock box, which includes all the installation hardware and you don’t need welding. You can use these locks in standard van trailers too. It is a two-part piece that includes a bolt-on lock box and guard plate with pre-drilled holes. These are contoured to fit flush with the doors of the shipping containers. Further, you have to attach the hasp to the guard plate that No Welding Required: Our shipping container lock is available in a bolt-on and detachable mechanism. That means you don’t need welding but you need to drill holes in the container. Additionally, it will enable you to reuse the lock box more than once on different containers. Installation Hardware Included: You will find all the necessary hardware with this shipping container lock box—bolts, washers, and screws. These are the exact sizes of pre-drilled holes in the lockbox and guard plate. However, the padlock is not included. It’s sold separately.
