About Prime-Line U 9476 Maximum Security Latch
Product Description This Prime-Line U 9476 Maximum Security Latch Strike is constructed of stamped steel and comes plated in a chrome finish. This security strike is designed to replace a standard strike plate for maximum security. Installation of this strike strengthens a locked door with six 3 inch long screws that attach to the jack/trimmer stud to help prevent kick-ins. Some mortising and pilot hole drilling may be required for flush install. Please refer to the line art for dimensions and compare with your needs before ordering. From the Manufacturer This maximum security latch strike is constructed of stamped steel and comes in a beautiful chrome-plated finish. It features a total of six(6) installation holes to ensure strong holding power with 3-inch screws that fasten deep into the door frame, beyond the thickness of the jamb. This 1-1/4 in. x 7-7/8 in. latch strike strengthens and repairs wood jambs, and it helps provide increased security to an entry door's most vulnerable area.
