Remove the setting screw and adjust the D-handld to the thickness of the door, then fix the L handle on the shaft with a threaded screw, secured by an Allen wrench. When you twist the external L handle, the D handle latches to the building frame. Turn the handle in the closed position 90 degrees clockwise to move it to the open position.
