From the Manufacturer The FM145 Bulldog Pedestrian Gate Lock provides locking security of walk-through pedestrian gates. Ideal for protecting swimming pools, playgrounds, tennis courts, boat docks, etc. from unwanted access. Built for horizontal mounting on a variety of walk-through gates. The FM145 is solar compatible, and works with the Mighty Mule FM136 or FM137 Digital Keypads, which can be programmed with up to 25 security codes (sold separately). Longer lock hold time will reduce battery life when using alkaline batteries
