This lever also features Kwikset’s SmartKey technological innovation that allows you to control who has access to your home. SmartKey provides flexibility to re-key your own lock in three easy steps, without removing it from your door. Key Yourself – The lock can be re-keyed by using the included learn tool in less than 30 seconds without removing the lock from the door. Includes a fully adjustable deadbolt to fit all standard door preparations. Includes round corner, square corner, and latch faceplates. A latch faceplate is the plate that installs against the door latch. Includes standard round corner strike plate part number 83796 (a strike plate is the plate on the door jamb that the latch secures against when the door is closed).
