MUTEX Commercial Grade Privacy Indicator Locks are designed to preserve your privacy and eliminate the guesswork about if the bathroom is occupied or vacant. Dual integrated windows on the door knob displays Red to indicate the room is occupied, and Blue to indicate the room is vacant. This lock is the perfect drop in replacement for all standard door types whether in your home, office, warehouse, or other commercial properties. This lock fits on both left and right handed doors, and can be installed in minutes with all included hardware. RELIABILITY & DURABILITY Each MUTEX lock is constructed of industrial grade materials and an extensive polishing treatment to ensure your lock looks great while repelling grease and moisture. MUTEX locks are engineered to withstand all weather conditions and can be used both indoors or outdoors. INSTALLATION The MUTEX Classic Privacy Indicator Doorknob will fit most standard doors between 1 3/8 inches and 2 inches thick. For doors thinner than 1 inch, some light modification of the spindle is necessary. The latch can be backset and accommodates from 2 ¾” to 2 ¾” if needed. Tools required: Tape measure, power drill/driver, Philips head screwdriver, wood chisel (if needed)
