About Rotary Hydraulic Roto Closer For Laundry Chute

This rotary closer is ideally used for all side hinged doors. It is commonly used in the chute industry with different sized doors from 15 x 15, 18 x 18, 21 x 18, 21 x 21, and 24 x 24.  But they are also used as a screen and storm door closer.  Although this spring closer is used frequently in heavy duty situations like the chute industry, it is also commonly used with light doors including storm doors, cabinets, interior screen door, and metal storage compartments. This roto closer is also fully reversible, and can work for both right and left hand indoor lightweight swinged doors. The function of this hardware part is to automatically have your door close as it is fully retractable. Hotels often benefit from such a closer as well when used on their doors. Because the closer allows the door to open completely at 180º, and allows for large laundry disposals. The measurements are approximately 3-3/4 inches (95 millimeters) high from the very top to bottom of this hardware spring closer, 1-3/4 inches (44.5 millimeters) wide, and 2-1/4 inches (57.2 millimeters) deep. NOTE / WARNING - This closer really works well, but the installation can be tricky if done casually. You have to be very precise with your efforts. Customers experiences varied based on the efforts of the installer. We use this closer on our rubbish and linen side hinged chute doors and it functions perfectly. ALSO: Rarely but sometimes these hydraulics are fabricated with excess silicone. If you experience visible oil in your package, it is not from inside the hydraulic cylinder. You can use this part safely after wiping off the excess oil. Additionally the Silicone meets Proposition 65 and is not considered cacogenic.
