Description MUTEX 14-digit combo deadbolt for standard sized doors and gates up to 2" thick, surfaced mounted, in satin chrome. Not recommended for gates thicker than 2" Please note: Installation for beginners may be challenging since modifications of surfaces may be required. INDOOR OR OUTDOOR RELIABILITY & DURABILITY Each MUTEX lock is constructed of heavy duty Zinc Alloy and the surface undergoes a chrome plating and polishing treatment to ensure your lock repels moisture and grease and works well both indoors or outdoors. 14 premium and durable spring loaded mechanical buttons from 0-10 and XYZ with one reset button are tested and rated for over one hundred thousand presses. The combination can be entered in any order and over 8000 combinations are possible. INSTALLATION REQUIRED The MUTEX MX250 will fit most standard doors between 1 3/8” to 2 inches thick, with installation required. For doors thinner than 1 inch, some light modification of the spindle is necessary.
