About Purely Organic Cabbage Seeds (Red Acre) - Approx
Start indoors 5-7 weeks before the last frost date; or outdoors once temperatures are consistently above 50°F. If starting indoors, harden-off seedlings for a week prior to transplanting. Plant in a sunny location where cabbage was not grown the previous year. Enrich the soil with vegetable food; and firm over seeds after planting. Keep the soil moist, but well drained, with regular watering. Feed every 4-6 weeks; and protect from weeds and insects. Harvest when the head is firm by cutting just below the lowest leaves.
