Keep moist, not letting the seeds dry out between watering. **SOIL Temperature for Germination: 60-70F. Planting Depth: 1/2". Can be direct seeded. Originally from Venice, Italy. Excellent quality. --- Verde di Macerata Cauliflower: A delicious old Italian heirloom variety that yields attractive 2-lb, bright apple-green heads that are superb cooked or raw in salads. Very attractive, vigorous plants, fairly early. With a lime green head that glows in the garden and a nutty pea taste this cauliflower deserves a place in any kitchen. No need to blanch. --- Purple of Sicily Cauliflower: A more uncommon cauliflower variety, Purple of Sicily yields large, bright, beautifully colored purple-red heads.
