Harvest ornamental Luffa Gourd at 2" long for delectable baby vegetables - young fruits can be used in soups and stews, and nicely substitute for cucumbers. Harvest gourds at 7" long for drying into loofa bath sponges. Each packet contains 25 luffa seeds. About 90 days from planting, the gourd’s flesh transforms into natural bath sponges for cleaning and exfoliating skin. Cut luffa off the vine with a sharp knife and allow to dry in the sun for about two weeks. They are ready when the skin hardens and turns brown.
