About Bunching Green Onions Scallions 250+ Seeds For

A perennial, fast-growing variety that is grown in early spring or late summer, or indoors all year round. Plant seeds as soon as the soil can be worked in the spring when the soil temperature is 65-86°F. Plant seeds ¼” deep and 1-1.5 inches apart in fertile, well-draining soil mixed with organic matter. Space the rows 12-18 inches apart. Keep the soil moist and don’t let it dry out. Feed with a complete fertilizer during the growing season. After the seedlings are 1-2 inches tall, use shears to thin the seedlings to 2 inches, if necessary. Onions grow best in full sun and soil pH of 6.0-7.5.
