About EveryDropMeter 1" Irrigation Flowmeter With 2 Wire
An affordable, high-precision vortex flowmeter to help avoid catastrophic leaks and gain insight into outdoor water use. Fully compatible with most smart controllers, the flow meter detects broken heads, ruptured pipes, and even low-flow leaks with highly sensitive, state-of- the-art Vortex technology and can issue notifications for leaks and blockages. The 1" flowmeter is +/-2% of reading accurate over the range 1gpm to 20gpm. This meter will read flow from 0.5gpm to 30gpm. With no rotating parts such as paddle meters or turbine meters, reliability is dramatically increased. It will not change calibration over time due to bearing wear. In irrigation systems, the meter does not have to be removed for system blow out as many commonly used irrigation meters must be. It also has a display with flow and total for easy reading and troubleshooting. With the 2 wire pulse output, it can be connected to the wired input of many widely used irrigation timers. When connected to the Plaid Systems WiFi Sprinkler Controller, it can monitor and report incorrect flow rates so that you can correct problems before they become a disaster. NOTE: This version of the meter is meant to be connected to an irrigation timer flow input (such as Spruce Irrigation or Rachio). To use without a timer, this REQUIRES a resistor in series with the power supply. See data sheet for exact specifications.
