Bundle - 2 Items: Soil pH Meter with 10 Conditioning Films. The Soil pH Meter is used when you need to determine correct soil pH levels in order to get healthier plants, flowers, fruits, trees, and lawns. This lightweight, portable soil acidity tester needs no power source or no batteries to operate. The Soil pH Meter creates its own small electrical current that is activated by the use of the meter's two different metal rings. You only need to use this soil tester if pH levels need to be adjusted. If your soil pH levels are right, do not alter them. Always make sure you have correct soil pH levels or else you are wasting valuable time using fertilizers because they cannot dissolve in very acidic or very alkaline soils. Fertilizers only dissolve when they are watered in soils with proper pH levels. Just keep in mind that too much soil acidity is bad and too little is bad as well. Once you determine that your soil needs its acidity adjusted, insert the pH Meter 2" into moist soil and in a few minutes a pH reading will be displayed. Keep in mind that a pH level of 7 is neutral and ideal conditions, with levels below 7 being acidic and levels higher than 7 are alkaline.
