One pound of Peach Seed, or kernels. The seeds are split and dry, skins have been removed. They uniformly shaped and sized, and are no larger than 1/2 inch long. They are the shape of almonds, but about half the size. Another common name for Peach seed is Persica. The PinYin name is Tao Ren. The botanical name is Prunus Davidiana. Peach kernel is an important herb used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for resolving many kinds of problems associated with blood stasis.
