About Earthcare Seeds Great Mullein Verbascum Thapsus 150
Mullein is an easy to grow hardy biennial and has been used as a herbal medicine for centuries. Mullein is also a stunning garden plant in its own right. The upright stems shoot up to 6' in the second year producing yellow flowers from June to September. Bees and butterflies are attracted to the plant. Mullein prefers full sun and lighter soils and can withstand dry conditions. There is a lot of information on the Internet about Mullein, and growing this plant is extremely rewarding. ***Note*** These seeds are harvested from our own plant stock. Zones: 4 - 10 Water: Low Light: Full Sun Sow seeds in early spring into finely raked and weeded soil. Gently press or rake the seeds in and then press the soil down firmly. Keep moist until established. Can be sown in Fall for Spring germination. Seeds are for the current and following growing seasons.
