Description Perennial. True English Lavender, Lavender is an evergreen perennial and has a subtle blue-green coloring and sweet fragrance. The leaves first open white, then turn a pale gray-blue-green color. Stalks of tiny purple flowers grow up to 14 inches tall. Flowers appear in terminal spikes in late spring to summer and early fall. Both foliage and flowers are highly aromatic. Leaves are evergreen in warm winter climates.
