The fruit begins to ripen in September through October. This cultivar can grow anywhere between 15 and 20 feet tall and is self-pollinating. The Fuyu prefers full sunlight and loamy, well-drained soil. The Fuyu typically takes between three to four years to begin to bear fruit. This tree’s small form and vigorous growth make the Fuyu Asian Persimmon a great choice for home landscape.
