BRING HOME THE BUTTERFLIES! Asclepias is also known by its common name "Milk Weed", among several others. It is a herbaceous perennial. Tropical, multitasking milk weed attracts monarch butterflies that use the plant as a source for nectar. Monarch butterflies lay eggs on this plant, and in turn, the resulting larvae (Caterpillars) use the plant leaves as a food source. Plant en masse to create curb appeal and to help support threatened wild life. It is very easy to care for, deer and rabbit resistant, and will still flower while it produces seed-blooms all season. Starting with our sizable roots instead of seed, they assure a full season of bloom. It can also be grown as a container plant. Asclepia Soulmate, commonly called swamp milk weed, features pink-white flower clusters atop lance-shaped leaves. Immensely popular native plant. Easy to grow. Vanilla fragrance.
