Showy daisy-like vibrant flowers in different colors. Low-maintenance and drought-tolerant. Ideal for rock gardens, borders, containers, and coastal gardens. Plant in a sunny area after the last frost. Sow seeds in well-draining, sandy, or loamy soil and lightly cover them with soil. Water gently but thoroughly. Once established, gazania is drought-tolerant, but still needs regular watering, especially during dry periods. Water deeply whenever the top inch of the soil feels dry. Apply a layer of organic mulch around the base of the plants to retain moisture, regulate soil temperature, and suppress weed growth. Remove spent flowers by deadheading to encourage continuous blooming.
