About Seed Needs, Ostrich Feather China Aster Seeds
Grow China Aster, Ostrich Feather from fresh Callistephus chinensis flower seeds. Ostrich Feather will produce a beautiful blend of fluffy, double petaled blooms, in shades of pink, purple, rose, white & violet. The blooms open to 4 inches in diameter above plants that grow to a mature height of 16 to 24 inches tall. Each plant will display fairly long, slender stems, which makes it perfect for use as a cut flower in floral arrangements and bouquets as well. Grown as an annual flowering plant, China Asters will grow quickly, bloom profusely, later dying with the first killing frost. The beautiful blooms won't only attract onlookers, it also attracts an array of beneficial insects as well. Butterflies and bumblebees will cling to these colorful flowers as the blossom into the fall months of October and November. Seeds can be collected from your flowers as the season comes to an end allowing you to regrow fresh China Asters the year after.
