Wisteria floribunda 'Pink Ice' (Wisteria Pink Ice) * Full sun to part shade * Zone 6-9 * 30' tall Produces loads of sweetly perfumed elongated bright pink flower racemes 12 to 16 inches long! Pink Ice is one of the few pink-flowering wisteria! Wisteria floribunda 'Pink Ice' is a lovely, vigorous climber up to 30 feet. Boasts loads of sweetly perfumed elongated bright pink flowers each spring. Color lightens as the flowers open, may fade to white in hot areas. 'Pink Ice' grows more slowly than many of the other cultivars. An excellent choice for a smaller garden. Deciduous. The branches of Wisteria 'Pink Ice' twist around their support like a liana, which makes them perfect for embellishing walls, gates, fences pergolas, railings, banisters, pillars or even leave them to climb and twist themselves around the trunks and branches of other trees. This adaptable shrub will also grow harmoniously on its own. In any case, it makes a perfect plant for the most modern to the most traditional of gardens. Wisteria 'Pink Ice' is very low maintenance, it needs an occasional pruning if you want to keep it smaller. Prune after bloom. Culture: Wisteria 'Pink Ice' Best grown in sheltered, warm and sunny positions, in moderately fertile and moist soils. Requires a strong support.
