About Outsidepride Tiger Paw Aster Gremlin Red Garden
These tall Asters are butterfly magnets! Callistephus Tall Double Gremlin is the variety name, and they reach 30 inches in height. Sometimes they are referred to as Tiger Paw Aster. This variety loves full sun or partial shade and rich, well-draining soil. The Gremlin variety has large red flowers with curved, twisted petals. They make a wonderful cut flower. Sow the seed indoors in the spring for transplanting outside after frost season ends. Thinly cover the seeds with soil and keep them moist. Maintain a temperature between 60 - 70F, and germination is usually within 21 days. Transplant outdoors and space 18 inches apart.
