Sowing Rate: 3 - 4 seeds per plant. Sow Solidago seeds directly outdoors in a weed free seedbed. Goldenrod seeds benefit from a late fall planting. The cold, moist weather of winter will actually help break the dormancy of the flower seeds. Broadcast the seed in late fall or early winter and lightly rake the Goldenrod seeds into the soil.
