About Celosia Plumosa Plumed Cockscomb Celosia Argentea

A beautiful mix of unique and easy-to-grow annual plants that grows up to 30” tall. Plant directly outside from March to June, when the soil temperature is 60°F. Celosia requires a lot of heat and light, and protection from the wind. Sow in healthy, well-drained soils with pH 5.5 - 6.0, rich in organic matter. Press the seeds into the soil 1/3-inch deep, 4 inches apart, and cover lightly with fine soil, still allowing light to reach the seeds. Water thoroughly and keep the soil moist. Water plants early in the morning with warm water. Thin to 6–12 inches apart when the first true leaves appear. Indoors, start 4-6 weeks before frost in peat pots to not disturb roots by transplanting. Weed frequently.
