Large, tubular flowers add warmth and radiance to the summer garden—and pollinators love them. Growing 24-26" tall, Crocosmia Masoniorum's flowers range from pale orange to flaming orange-red. They shine in the garden, and their wiry stems make them ideal for cut flowers. Crocosmia comes from the Greek language and means "saffron smell," which reportedly can be detected when dried flowers are submerged in water. The flowers bloom in July-August. Plant in full sun to part shade among your perennials. Non-demanding bulbs will come back each year.
